Puanani Mahoe
Auntie Pua is a native
Hawai'ian raised on the island of Oa'hu and a
graduate of the Bishop School there. She loves
to share her vast knowledge and experience of
Hawai'ian history and culture with others interested
in learning more about health and healing,
spirituality, art. music, and family in the native
Hawai'ian tradition. Author and
re-birthing specialist, Sondra Ray, featured Auntie
Pua and her teachings in her book, Pele's Wish in 2005. Auntie
Pua is a much sought-after speaker on Hawai'ian
history and tradition and always enjoys sharing her
wonderful mana
("life force") and aloha with all.
Now living
on Maui, Auntie Pua is considered a "local treasure"
there. We are very fortunate to have her with
us for this special Venus Transit 2012
